Samanali, a quiet and dedicated dance teacher in her twenties working at a convent, leads a strictly disciplined life void of romance. She carries the heavy emotional weight of her family’s past—specifically a ongoing rift where her grandmother constantly blames her mother—and feels deeply responsible for both women's well-being.
