star 735 year old Umezawa Isamu works for a major trading firm and is a single dad to his only son, Hiroshi, a 6th-grader who hates to study but loves to play baseball. Lin He Xiang Niang raised four sons and two daughters on her own. Lin Shi Jie is the son of Xiang Niang's deceased eldest son. Shi Jie's wife Su Xian left him.
