The GeoFreakZ are a comedic team of teenagers who are working their way through training at the GeoFreakZ Academy where they embark on geocaching adventures in order to save the planet. They travel the Virtual Universe in search of hidden geocaches, adventure and laughs — while trying to keep one step ahead of Fabio and his gang of troublemakers.

Each episode also featured a visit with a guest storyteller or two (often people connected to the Jim Henson Company). The final segment of each episode included a child actor playing Tomie enacting stories from his book "26 Fairmount Avenue."
