Cooking For Kids with Luis is a television cooking series for pre-schoolers, which was broadcast on Nick Jr. in 2004.
In this television series, Luis prepares, cooks and shares some of his favorite dishes - from scrambled eggs to tortillas, dumplings to Guatemalan cheesecake.
At six years of age, Luis is the Guinness World Record holder as the youngest host of his own television program. The series is also seen on a number of broadcasters worldwide, including Nick Jr. in America, Canada, Ireland, South Africa, Germany and France where Luis is dubbed.
The series was directed and produced by Phillip Tanner with Jason Critelli as associate producer/production manager.
The series was followed by a similar program about gardening for children entitled Gardening for Kids with Madi.
Cooking for Kids with Luis won two ASTRA Awards in 2005: Most Outstanding Australian Production Kids and Short Form. Luis was also nominated as Favourite New Presenter.
The program also spawned a cook book published by Pluto Press.

A young boy from the city comes to the forester Januszko, a friend of his grandfather from the war and partisans. On the spot, he meets people who amaze him. They bear the names of the heroes of the novel "Summer of Forest People" by Maria Rodziewczówna, which they readily read and love nature very much. Under their guidance, the boy gets to know the local nature and makes friends with them. He also meets a girl named Justyna.
This is the story of a girl, Aima, who stands shoulder to shoulder with her father, sharing the responsibilities of their home. Her mother and sisters are strongly against this freedom of hers. She constantly hears criticism from the whole family, telling her that a woman should remain within the four walls of the house. But Aima believes that a woman should help share the hard work and burdens carried by the men of her family.
That is why, no matter how difficult the circumstances, Aima stands firmly beside her father, Shakir. But after Shakir’s death, her own blood relations turn against her and become her enemies.
Set in the fictional Bollygum National Park, the series follows Blinky Bill, Mrs Magpie, Angelina Wallaby and Walter Wombat from the original _Blinky Bill_ books by Dorothy Wall, and adds new characters such as Charlie Goanna, Eric Echidna, Sybilla Snake and Kerry Koala from the neighbouring fictional Acadia Ridge park.
Sirfetch’d and Pichu are front and centre as the heroes of the show, which is set in a region Trainers have explored before—one that is very close to Aardman’s heart. The series will offer a unique look at the Pokémon world, told from the perspective of Pokémon, with the signature Aardman sense of character, comedy and craft.
