It contained the following segments: The New Fred and Barney Show, The Thing, and The New Shmoo. The show was a repackaging of episodes from The New Fred and Barney Show and The Thing combined with half-hour reruns of The New Shmoo. Despite the show's title, Fred, Barney, the Thing and the Shmoo only appeared briefly together in bumpers between segments.
