Fashion File was a Canadian television series, which aired on CBC Television and CBC Newsworld, as well as internationally in syndication, from 1989 to 2009. The series covered fashion industry news. The series was hosted from its inception until 2006 by Tim Blanks, who left the show at the end of 2006 to join the Canadian fashion magazine Flare as editor-at-large. Over the winter of 2007, the CBC aired Fashion File Host Hunt, a short-run reality show in which ten finalists competed to become the new host of the show. Adrian Mainella was chosen as the new host of the series at the end of the Host Hunt. Other contestants included Peter Papapetrou, Manny Neubacher, Justin Singh, Paul Pogue, Mary Kitchen, Stephanie Pigott, Jamey Ordolis, Raji Sohal and Henrietta Southam. The judges were fashion magazine editors Bronwyn Cosgrave and Suzanne Boyd, and Fashion File executive producer Réjean Beaudin. The series was hosted by Michelle Mama. Good Morning Canada was a national weekend breakfast television show aired on the CTV Television Network in Canada from circa fall 2001 to early 2009. The program was pre-taped during the week, and aired twice each weekend, Saturday morning at 8 and Sunday morning at 7, with news inserts provided by CTV Newsnet. The show's content consists mainly of feature segments originally produced for local CTV newscasts. The show was always produced at one of the network's stations other than flagship CFTO Toronto, moving every three to six months. There was a single host at any one time, generally a personality from the then-current producing station. Unlike the weekend editions of American network morning shows, the program was separate from CTV's weekday morning program Canada AM. In the early 1990s, the network carried a one-hour weekend program, Canada AM Weekend, re-airing the show's best segments of the week. Business Centre Europe is a business news programme once aired on CNBC Europe that replaced Europe Tonight. Airing from 18.00 UK time, Business Centre Europe was a 30-minute wrap-up of the day's top business stories in Europe and also crossed over to the US to update progress on the trading day there. The show was initially presented by Sarah Clements and then by Emma Crosby. The show took its name from CNBC US' flagship evening show, Business Center. However unlike its U.S. and Asian counterparts which used slightly different lower-thirds on screen, the show's lower-thirds were the exactly same as the ones used on CNBC Europe's other daytime programmes. Unlike most news channel programs, it had an live audience giving reaction throughout the program, similar to the CNN show TalkBack Live.
