star 7.7Fourth Reading was a weekly current events newsmagazine series in Canada, airing on TVOntario from 1992 to 2006. It was hosted by Steve Paikin. The show covered provincial politics in Ontario and national political issues affecting the province. Its name derived from the parliamentary convention that a bill receives three readings in a legislative house before becoming law; media coverage would therefore constitute a "fourth reading". In 1997, Minister of Education John Snobelen was being interviewed on a Thursday afternoon, for the show that would air the Friday night. During this interview, then-Premier Mike Harris announced a cabinet shuffle in which Snobelen became the Minister of Natural Resources.Fast Lane Daily

Fast Lane Daily, sometimes referred to as FLD, is an Internet-based video newscast about the automotive industry, created by Emil Rensing, a founder of Next New Networks. Fast Lane Daily is part of AutoStream, Inc.. Its first episode first aired on February 17, 2007. FLD is currently hosted by Derek DeAngelis and runs daily, Monday through Friday. Alex Roy, JF Musial, and Leo Parente have now moved to the DRIVE channel. Past FLD hosts include Tinabeth Piña, Alex Gizela, Carrie Milbank, Michael Spinelli and Ray Wert of Jalopnik.com, Gumball 3000 veteran Alex Roy of Team Polizei, Richard Owens of Supercars.net, and Bullrun rally driver Ashley Van Dyke. As of April, 2013, FLD has over 130,700 YouTube subscribers and has shot over 1,500 episodes, one of the highest episode counts for an internet show. Historical view count for FLD on YouTube stands at 167 million as of April 2013. On December 20, 2010, FLD aired its 1,000th episode. Asia Market Watch was a business news programme aired on CNBC Asia from 9 a.m. to noon, Hong Kong/Singapore/Taiwan time. The programme, presented by Amanda Drury, took its name from the previous CNBC US programme Market Watch. The programme was also aired in part on CNBC Europe and in its entirety in the US on CNBC World. Although it was referred to as Asia Market Watch in programme listings and by some presenters, the programme's title sequence and graphics referred to the programme only as Market Watch since 30 October 2000. The programme, which debuted a new logo on October 30, 2006, then used the theme music previously adopted by Street Signs. When the programme debuted in April 2000, it was entitled Asia Market Watch and only lasted for 1 hour with the 2nd half hour a replay of the 1st half hour. However, in October 2000, as part of CNBC Asia's extension of live regional programming, it was simply renamed Market Watch and aired live for 3½ hours on Weekdays.
