The Home and Family Show is an American talk and home information show that was first shown on the Family Channel on April 1, 1996. The original hosts were Cristina Ferrare and Chuck Woolery. Woolery had to leave the show in September, 1996, to have heart surgery. He was replaced by Michael Burger.The show was an unusual chat show with many regular guest and segments. The set was housed in a small studio designed to look like a house, which was built in an out-of-the-way corner of the Universal Studios backlot. This first incarnation of the show was cancelled on August 14, 1998 due with News Corporation buying The Family Channel and turned it into Fox Family Channel. The series was revived on October 1, 2012, this time for The Hallmark Channel. Coming from the same stage as the original series, this incarnation of the show was at first co-hosted by Mark Steines and Paige Davis. Sen kväll med Luuk was one of Sweden's and TV4's most popular talk shows ever and started airing in 1996. Kristian Luuk's show had ratings around 1.5 million viewers every week. Kristian had many celebrity guests like Cher, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey. In 2004, after 8 years of broadcasting the show, Kristian Luuk decided to quit the talk show and started his new project God Afton Sverige, which turned out to be a failure. There are no plans of reviving the show from TV4 at this moment.

Face to Face was a Sunday morning political talk program on the Seven Network. It ran from 19 November 1995 and in 1999 became a segment of Sunday Sunrise. Face to Face started in November 1995 as a small-budget national political interview show, which featured an interview with a guest about the week's most important national issue. It aired late Sunday night and was originally hosted by Neil Mercer. In October 1996, the show moved to Sunday mornings and began screening live at 8.30 am, up against Network Ten's Meet the Press and the second half of Nine Network's Business Sunday. Guests were interviewed live in the studio, instead of pre-recording. In 1997, Stan Grant became the host until mid year when Chris Bath took over. In 1998, Bath moved to Witness and Glenn Milne took over. In 1999 it became a segment of Sunday Sunrise and ceased to be a stand-alone programme. During that year the segments changed from being live with Glenn Milne to being a Friday night pre-record by Stan Grant.

The Frank Skinner Show was a television chat show hosted by comedian Frank Skinner, which lasted nine series on British television between 1995 and 2005. As well as celebrity interviews, the shows included an initial stand-up routine, various sketches throughout the episode and usually concluded with a comedic song featuring Frank and the guest stars. The Frank Skinner Show became notorious over the years for the unconventional nature of the interviews, including some shocking revelations from the guests. The programme ended in 2005 after nine series. It was screened on BBC One from its first episode on 10 September 1995 until 3 June 1999. In 2000, the show moved to ITV. The programme was nominated for a Royal Television Society Award in 2001.
