They were once just ordinary people. He was a local police inspector, and she was a journalist writing about all things unusual. But ever since they became agents of a top-secret agency dealing with anomalous phenomena, their lives seemed to shift into another world. Their only connection to the normal world was through the Courier, while their assignments came from the Curator—who also received their reports. In the past, the Agency had many employees. Everyone felt the importance and uniqueness of the missions they carried out. But after a time of upheaval—when funding dried up and the future became uncertain—only four people remained from the original team. Yet neither the budget nor the headcount can influence the unknown forces that give rise to anomalies. These factors only determine the risk and burden placed on the agents who continue doing everything they can to keep anomalous phenomena from disrupting everyday life.

Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E.73 -STARGAZER- is a side story to the anime TV series, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. As of July 2006, it is being streamed on Bandai Channel as an original net animation. The show is directed by Susumu Nishizawa and written by Shigeru Morita, both staff members of Gundam SEED Destiny. The series consists of three episodes, each running at 15-minutes long. The web broadcast began in July 2006, with a new episode showing monthly. A DVD containing all three episodes as well as the two 5-minute long Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Astray animated shorts was released on November 24, 2006. This DVD also contained a different ending for Stage 3 in which several scenes after the Phantom Pain attack are shown. A manga adaptation of the series has been released in 2007. Authored by Naoki Moriya, it features an epilogue reveals the previously uncertain fate of Selene and Sven as they are shown to be alive and mostly unharmed from their ordeal. Sven joins the DSSD.

Saeko Shirasu is a 25-year-old war front-line photo-journalist who became a celebrity after taking a picture of civilians raising a makeshift UN flag in war-torn Uddiyana. The image then became an instant symbol for peace. However, just before the peace agreement is achieved, the flag was stolen by an armed extremist group in order to obstruct the truce. The UN peacekeepers decide to covertly send in a SDC (pronounced as "Seedac"—Special Development Command) unit to retrieve the flag. Among the SDC unit's equipment is the HAVWC (High Agility Versatile Weapon Carrier—pronounced "havoc") mecha armored vehicle.

It was aired on Philippine television by GMA Network during weeknights on its primetime block. The series premiered on May 29, 2006, and last aired on January 12, 2007. It also aired worldwide, with a three-week delay on GMA Pinoy TV. Richard Gutierrez plays the superhero, Captain Barbell and his alter ego, Teng.
