High Kick! was a popular South Korean situation comedy revolving around the life of the Lee family, taking place in Seoul at the same time as the broadcast. The title of the show "High Kick!" has several implications, one of which is the oft-depicted high kicks of Yoon-ho, one of the main characters. The show aired in South Korea from Monday to Friday in sitcom format. Due to its popularity, the show filmed more episodes than were initially planned. Many of the characters starred in commercials and advertisements in Korea. The show's popularity also led to High Kick Through the Roof, which aired in 2009-2010, and High Kick 3: The Counterattack of the Short Leg, which aired in 2011-2012.

Comics Unleashed is a half-hour comedic talk show produced by the Entertainment Studios production company and hosted by Byron Allen, with John Cramer as announcer and DJ Cobra providing music support. The show features a panel of four guest comedians performing their standup bits thinly disguised as a sit-down chat show, sometimes preceded by a brief monologue or joke from Allen. Certain episodes were branded as Comics Unleashed: Hot Chocolate, as the featured comedians on those episodes were all of African descent.

The show aired on Spain's Cuatro channel from launch until June 2011 and is now broadcast on Antena 3. Recurring guests on the show include Luis Piedrahita, Raquel Martos, Marron & "The Man in Black", and puppet ants Trancas and Barrancas. Förkväll was a Swedish daily talk show that started airing in 2006 on TV4 in January 2011 the last episode was broadcast before the show was cancelled. Förkväll focused on life style and popular culture and is an attempt to compete with the SVT show Gokväll, but for a younger demographic. For the first season, the hosts were the model and reality show star Carolina Gynning, singer and actress Kayo Shekoni, journalist Alexandra Pascalidou, comedian and radio show host Carina Berg and author Mari Jungstedt. In the two first season was the program broadcasting live from Stockholm Central Station. Among the guests have been Victoria Silvstedt, Kjell Bergqvist, Helena Bergström, Andreas Wilson, Anna Book, Måns Zelmerlöw as well as internationally acclaimed stars such as Irish boy band Westlife. The network replaced the show with The Steve Wilkos Show in the slot following its final episode. The show was also streamed on the Sony website.
