At first glance, Shimanaga Shoichi seems like an ordinary old man who was assigned to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Second Mobile Investigation Unit just before retirement, but in fact, he is a legend in spot-on investigations and can remember the faces of 800 people he has been assigned to. Takamaru Takuya, an ambitious and handsome member of the unit, teams up with Shimanaga and dreams of being transferred to the First Investigative Division.
