    Diamonds is a Canadian television series, which aired from 1987 to 1989. The show starred Nicholas Campbell as Mike Devitt and Peggy Smithhart as Christina Towne, a divorced couple who continued to work together as private investigators. Devitt and Towne had originally met as television stars who played married private investigators on a TV series called Two of Diamonds. The show was frequently compared to the American series Moonlighting. In a direct nod to the comparison, one episode actually featured an encounter with a character who mistook Devitt and Towne for Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd. The cast also included Roland Magdane, Geraint Wyn Davies and Tony Rosato. Campbell was also an occasional writer for the series. The series aired on Global in Canada, and in a late night slot on CBS in the United States, as well as on the USA Network. It was one of several Canadian-produced drama series to air in the CBS Late Night block of crime dramas. Others included Adderly, Night Heat and Hot Shots.

In each episode, comedians posing as experts on a particular subject would debate two real commentators. The true experts were unaware that the show was a sham. Topics ranged from reality television to religion to violence in video games. It debuted on July 6, 2004 and ran for eight weeks. It aired Tuesday-Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET. The twenty-third and final episode aired on August 24, 2004. Show number 24 was taped but never aired, after one of the unsuspecting guests, James March, threatened to sue Comedy Central.

    The Super Sentai Versus Series Theater (スーパー戦隊VSシリーズ劇場 Sūpā Sentai Bāsasu Shirīzu Gekijō) was a special event on TV Asahi during the run of Tensou Sentai Goseiger, airing an hour before. This show was a compilation of thirteen Super Sentai crossover movies in half-hour parts (from Chouriki Sentai Ohranger: Ole vs. Kakuranger through Juken Sentai Gekiranger vs. Boukenger) as well as Kyukyu Sentai GoGo-V the Movie: Sudden Shock! A New Warrior; all broken into half-hour parts (usually two-parts; Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai had three). The movies had commentary at the beginning and end by the Goseiger about the teams and the storylines within the movies and along with that, they also talk about what's coming up on their show.

It starred Judd Hirsch as the title character, Dominick Delvecchio, an Italian-American detective who worked for the LAPD and also studied to become a lawyer. A writer of eight episodes of the series, Stephen Bochco, would later import cast members Charles Haid and Michael Conrad, along with guest-stars James B. Sikking and George Wyner, to his masterpiece Hill Street Blues. One episode of the Delvecchio series was made available on the 2006 DVD release, "Brilliant But Cancelled TV Dramas," along with an episode each of Gideon Oliver, Johnny Staccato, and Touching Evil.
