Finding his wife and daughter missing and his past cases unresolved, he was reinstated with the help of former leader Sir Yip. Teaming up with Chan Hoi-ching, who had a unique approach to investigations, and the stoic Cheung Tin-ming, Kwong-yiu began to notice unsettling similarities between a new murder case and the cases he had previously investigated. As he delved deeper, he sensed a larger conspiracy and was determined to uncover the truth and seek justice.
