Selling New York is an American television series airing on HGTV. It features real estate brokers from three Manhattan real estate companies selling real estate to New York's elite. Season I was filmed between September 2009 and February 2010. It premiered in March 2010 and concluded in June of the same year.
The series was renewed for a second season for 39 new episodes. It premiered on January 6, 2011. The show is now in its fourth season.
It is produced by Canadian production company, JV Productions Inc.
The series has inspired Los Angeles and European spin-offs titled Selling LA which premiered October 13, 2011 on HGTV and Selling London.
DogTown is a National Geographic Channel series set at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, a 33,000-acre animal facility in southern Utah. It is a documentary-style program that profiles staff and volunteers as they care for dogs in need of homes. Many animals featured are severely abused or neglected or in need of specialized medical treatment. The goal is usually to secure each dog an adoptive home but if this is not possible, animals are cared for at the sanctuary for the remainder of their lives.
The show first aired on January 4, 2008, and continued for four seasons. The final episode aired on March 12, 2010. By participating in the series, the sanctuary aimed to raise public awareness of issues in animal welfare as well as funds for their life-saving work. Best Friends Animal Society has credited the show with dramatically improving membership, volunteer, and visitor numbers, as well as helping secure homes for many dogs on the program.
Paranormal Cops was an American paranormal reality television series that premiered on January 19, 2010 on A&E. The program was produced by NorthSouth Productions for A&E. It followed the Chicago Paranormal Detectives as they "fought crime by day and hunted for paranormal happenings by night." The series lasted for one six-episode season. Presumably due to ratings, the series is no longer produced by A&E Television Networks.
