The work of Du Noyer included charting the landscape, people and buildings of Ireland over a 35-year period, which saw the country go through great changes. Kearney makes note of his impressions of Glendalough when she travels there and then gets herself wet at the Bog of Allen. In the north she ventures close to the cliff edges to discover the extraordinary landscapes encompassing Dunluce Castle, and onwards to Mussenden Temple.
