The show was hosted by Hannes Võrno and ran for six seasons, from 2002 to 2008. The main goal of the game was to win 1 million Estonian krooni by answering 15 multiple-choice questions correctly. There were 3 lifelines - "fifty fifty", "phone a friend" and "ask the audience". The game show was shown on the Estonian TV station TV3. When a contestant got the fifth question correct, they would leave with at least 1,000 EEK. When a contestant got the tenth question correct, they would leave with at least 32,000 EEK.
Matinee Theater is an American anthology series that aired on NBC during the Golden Age of Television, from 1955 to 1958. The series, which ran daily in the afternoon, was frequently live. It was produced by Albert McCleery, Darrell Ross, George Cahan and Frank Price with executive producer George Lowther. McCleery had previously produced the live series Cameo Theatre which introduced to television the concept of theater-in-the-round, TV plays staged with minimal sets.
