We can follow the fairytale heroes of István Csukás, Mirr-Murr and Oriza Triznyák, the two curious stray cats on their adventurous journeys. The story of the puppet film begins with Kiscsacsi (whose name is Samu according to the original history of the book) getting to know the wardrobe, the bed, the chair, the chandelier and of course Mirr-Mur. Together they fly, play a naval battle, read a book, or just make friends with Paprikajancs, Bóbice, and Csinnadrata, the lead soldier with whom they discover the poultry farm. Mirr-murr accidentally left the others and ends up in Ödön Slukk's coat pocket. He manages to get out and then befriends Oriza Triznya. The two stray cats stand various rehearsals, help Pál Ploma or join a company called Pintyőke Circus World Number. Further stories will emerge from the series and books.

CBS Children's Film Festival is a television series of live action films from several countries that were made for children. Originally a sporadic series airing on Saturday mornings, Sunday afternoons, or weekday afternoons during the summer from 1967, it became a regularly scheduled program in 1971 on the CBS Saturday morning lineup, running one hour with some films apparently edited down to fit the time slot. The program was hosted by 1950s television act Kukla, Fran and Ollie, aka puppeteer Burr Tillstrom and actress Fran Allison. Kukla, Fran and Ollie were dropped from the series in 1977 and the program was renamed CBS Saturday Film Festival. In 1978 CBS canceled the show in favor of the youth targeted magazine 30 Minutes which was modeled after its adult sister show 60 Minutes. CBS canceled 30 Minutes in 1982 and brought back Saturday Film Festival which ran for two seasons until CBS cancelled it for good in 1984. The Abduction of Balthazar Sponge (Polish: Porwanie Baltazara Gąbki) is a Polish-language fantasy animated series produced by Studio Filmów Rysunkowych from 1969 to 1970, that was based on 1965 children's book Porwanie Baltazara Gąbki by Stanisław Pagaczewski. The series had 1 season consisting of 13 episodes, each lasting from 6 to 7 minutes. The episodes were directed by Władysław Nehrebecki, Alfred Ledwig, Edward Wątor, Józef Byrdy, Bronisław Zeman, Wacław Wajser, and Stanisław Dülz, while the scrips were written by Zofia Olak and Leszek Mech. The series had a sequel ,Wyprawa profesora Gąbki, that was produced from 1978 to 1980.

Jimbo and the Jet Set is a British animated cartoon series broadcast in the 1980s, featuring the adventures of the eponymous Jimbo, a talking aeroplane. Created by Maddocks Cartoon Productions, it originally ran for 25 episodes between 1985 and 1986. The premise of the cartoon is that Jimbo was originally intended to be a Jumbo Jet, but his designer could not tell the difference between inches and centimetres, resulting in his diminutive size. If Jimbo's designer switched the imperial measurements of the Boeing 747 for metric, the result would have been an aircraft with a fuselage length of 91 ft; this would make Jimbo roughly the length of an early-series Boeing 737. The television series features various talking airport-type ground vehicles: Tommy Tow-Truck, Claude Catering, Amanda Baggage, Phil the Fuel Truck, Sammy Steps and Harry Helicopter. Not so very long ago, Jasper lived at the South Pole with his family, as is normal for penguins. But one day it happened: in his unbounded curiosity, Jasper had dared to go too far to the edge of the breaking ice cap.
