"Bakkar" is the name of an Egyptian cartoon series and the main character in the series who tells of his adventures. Bakkar is a young boy who belongs to a Nuba village in southern Egypt and finds himself in the adventures of himself and his friends. He helps the police solve the puzzles because he feels responsible for his community. At the end of each episode, he presents a moral message to children, belonging and patriotism. The series produced a very great success, and Bakkar's character was the first Egyptian cartoon character to come out

Staines Down Drains is an Australia/New Zealand co-produced children's television series created by Jim Mora. The series was premiered on the Seven Network in October 2006 and broadcast in New Zealand on TV2 beginning on 28 February 2007. A second series of 13 episodes was announced in 2009-each 11-minutes long-but these episodes were never produced.

Puffin's Pla(i)ce is a British regional children's programme named after it's star, Oscar Puffin, that's broadcast on ITV Channel Television on weekend afternoons. The programme, one of the longest-running children's series to air on the ITV network, has been broadcast since 3 March 1963.
Originally presented by Channel Television's team of continuity announcers, recent Puffin's Pla(i)ce presenters have included Stewart McDonald, Kevin Pamplin, Sam Palmano, Lucy Anderson and currently, Jenny Mullin.
In September 2013 it was announced the show would no longer be broadcast on TV, but would move to an online format at the Channel Online website. The last TV edition was broadcast on 15th September 2013.
