Her adopted son Kent Ling and his girlfriend Kate Wei are her think-tanks; whereas Ching Yan is her bodyguard. However, Tsz Kit's appearance turns their relationship upside down. Meanwhile, Ling Hung's affiliates are waiting for an opportunity to wreak havoc, putting her life in imminent danger. Though Ching Yan and Tsz Kit join forces to strike back, they trigger a new wave of bloodshed that is about to engulf the whole society.

A traffic accident causes Chi-kiu and Sum-yuet to run into each other again. But this accident somehow has something to do with Siu-tin, who is just released from prison. Sum-yuet can no longer avoid Siu-tin, who is a nightmare to her. Her marriage also has certain issues. Police officer Yeung Yan-hiu intervenes by launching an investigation, and she keeps going after Siu-tin and Chi-kiu. Unresolved grudges for thirty years are again put on the front burner. Everyone implicated in a robbery of yesteryear is drawn into this mess.

The cartoon was about the Pocket Dragons who live with a kindly old wizard, and their many adventures. The series was produced by BKN Entertainment. The show was also produced by D'Ocon Productions and DIC Entertainment. The show first aired in the late-1990s/early-2000s in syndication in the US and about 50 other countries. The series is still playing in some countries, including just having been sold to Russian television in 2008. The show itself was created by Craig Miller and Marv Wolfman, who produced and story edited the series. Together or separately, they wrote over 40% of the total number of episodes. Pocket Dragon Adventures was also the very first animated series signed to a labor contract with the Writers Guild of America.
