    The Judge was a dramatized court show which ran in first-run syndication from 1986 to 1993. The series chronicled the family court cases heard by Judge Robert J. Franklin, played by Bob Shield, who died in late 1996. This was one of many shows that dealt with dramatized court cases based on real ones. This show was one of several courtroom dramas that were popular at that time such as Divorce Court with real-life Judge William Keene and Superior Court with Raymond St. Jacques. The show was produced and licensed by WBNS, and was distributed by Genesis Entertainment before it became part of 20th Television.

    For the Love of Ray J is a dating show on VH1 featuring hip hop singer Ray J. The program has a format similar to Flavor of Love, I Love New York, and Rock of Love. One source notes that it "will be produced by the same geniuses" as those shows, 51 Minds. In reference to the series, Ray J said: The show, which premiered on February 2, 2009, follows Ray J and his entourage of female suitors to the hottest hangouts in Los Angeles, to Sin City where they’ll party with his famous friends, and to Ray’s childhood home where they’ll meet his family and older sister Brandy.     Don't Blame Me is an Australian children's television program. In the United Kingdom the show is known as Don't Blame the Koalas. The series was originally screened on the Nine Network and has also screened on ABC3. The show is set in Waratah Park, an Australian wildlife park in the Ku-ring-gai National Park where the King family arrive from England to live with their Australian relatives after going bankrupt. Before they arrive they believe they have inherited a large cattle ranch, but on arrival are disappointed to meet a largely unprofitable, slightly run down wildlife park. Most of the comedy in the series is slightly surreal in a Round the Twist style way. Special effects and sounds are used to convey the characters actions mixed in with slightly speeded up footage when walking.

It differs from the usual reality show in that it is structured as a traditional narrative than a straightforward observant documentary style. The series premiered on August 13, 2007 and concluded on January 2, 2008. The series was created as a successor to Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County to avoid cancelling the series for lack of a fourth season plotline. However, Newport Harbor proved to be unsuccessful and was cancelled after two seasons.

    Sugar is a TV cooking show shown on Food Network Canada hosted by Canadian pastry chef Anna Olson. The official show description reads "Anna Olson satisfies sweet cravings with great dessert recipes and guides viewers from making to plating with presentation ideas to dress up any dessert." Premiered in October 2002, Sugar is a half-hour show which specializes in desserts. Each episode has a theme ingredient. Host Anna Olson makes one simple dessert with the theme ingredient in the first part of the show. During the second and third part, she creates a more elaborate or decadent dessert with the same ingredient. Finally, during the last few minutes of the program called the "Switch-Up", Anna re-invents the first dessert with a few tricks and turns it into something more special. Sugar aired for five seasons on Food Network Canada and its 151 episodes has been syndicated in 40 countries.

The series was apparently inspired by, but has no direct connection to, the 2000 comedy film Meet the Parents, wherein a man must seek the approval of his girlfriend's demanding parents before proposing. One of the film's best-known elements, a lie detector test, also figures prominently in the series. The film's producers, Universal Studios, had at one point considered legal action over the program, specifically the title and the lie detector segment, but this did not come to fruition.

The couples must build the restaurant and run it accordingly to survive in the competition. After the opening of the restaurant's the competition judges will visit each restaurant and submit a review. The 2 couples with the lowest reviews go up for nomination. Then Australia decides which restaurant closes by voting. The least favorite restaurant will close it's doors. This process is repeated until the last 2 couples remain and then everything is on the line. The couple with the highest number of votes win the competition and get to keep their own restaurant for good. They also get a cash prize of $100,000.

    Celebrity Bowling was an American syndicated sports series hosted by Jed Allan that ran from January 16, 1971 to September 1978. The series was produced in Los Angeles at Metromedia Square, the studios of KTTV. Each week, the show featured four celebrities, on a pair of AMF or Brunswick lanes installed inside KTTV's studios, pitted against each other in teams of two. Victorious teams won prizes for studio audience members based upon the level of winning scores. The weekly series was a by-product of The Celebrity Bowling Classic, a 90-minute TV special produced in 1969 for the Metromedia-owned stations, benefitting the Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. Foundation. Joe Siegman created the series, and he and Don Gregory produced 144 episodes for their 7-10 Productions.

    I Want To Be a Hilton is a 2005 weekly NBC reality television series that was hosted by Kathy Hilton. The show featured people who "Wanted to be like a Hilton." The finalist of the competition receives a prize package that includes a $200,000 trust fund, a new apartment, wardrobe and the opportunity to get to know the Hiltons. They resided at a fancy New York hotel and were divided into two teams, "Park" and "Madison". In each episode, they were required to perform certain tasks, ranging from dog grooming, a fashion show and organizing a charity event, while learning etiquette and manners. As they competed, Hilton guided them through a variety of challenges that cover subjects ranging from art and culture to beauty and fashion. Hilton met with the losing team at the end of each episode and eliminated one contestant with the catchphrase, "You're not on the list."
