    Find My Family is an Australian television documentary series airing on the Seven Network. The first two seasons were narrated and presented by actor Jack Thompson. From the third season onwards it did not have a presenter, instead being narrated by Sarah McIntyre. The series is based on an original Dutch format created by public network KRO, titled 'Spoorloos'. Find My Family reunites long-lost family members who have been separated for many reasons and circumstances. The absence of family members often leaves gaping holes in people's identities. These reunions attempt to fill those gaps by reconnecting family members. Host of seasons 1–2, Jack Thompson was adopted as a child and reunited with his father as an adult. He also traced his family's ancestry in an episode of the documentary series Who Do You Think You Are?. There is also an American version airing on ABC that began airing on 23 November 2009. The US version was produced by RDF USA.

    Pet Rescue was a British daytime TV series broadcast on Channel 4. Launched in January 1997, it chronicled various pets and animals being rescued, cared for, and then either rehoused or returned to the wild. Produced by Bazal Productions/Endemol for Channel 4, and with a theme tune penned by Simon May, it ran to a set format, which developed little over time: ⁕A central presenter ⁕A location, based around an RSPCA office ⁕A couple of 'show' stories which were intertwined, and reached conclusion within that show - i.e.: animal rehoused/released into wild ⁕A longer story about a particular animal, species or animal issue The program closed with an "advert" for a particular animal which had spent a lot of time in a rescue home, which the public could call in to apply to rehouse. This later feature followed normal RSPCA rehousing procedures, and was not a "lottery".     Iditarod: Toughest Race on Earth is a Discovery Channel reality television series about the 2008 Iditarod race from Anchorage, Alaska to Nome, Alaska. The show follows and documents selected racers and their dogs during the 1,161 mile trek through Alaska's wilderness. Iditarod entrants pay $3,000 to enter the race and must have completed certain qualifying races beforehand. Expenses for the race can exceed $20,000 and mushers often seek sponsors to aide in paying for the race. Most mushers hold outside jobs in addition to racing. During the course of the show it is shown how the logistics of running an Iditarod are handled. Supplies are gathered and then flown into each of the checkpoints usually just hours before the mushers arrive. Each musher is required to sign into each checkpoint and then decides if they are going to continue on or rest for several hours. Some mushers elect to take short stops, briefly feeding their dogs before continuing on the trail. Veterinarians perform constant examinations on the dogs

Hosts Chad Houseknecht, an inventor, and Mike Loades, a weapons historian, choose a different historical weapon each week. While Loades explores its history—often traveling to the country from which it comes to interview modern practitioners—Houseknecht attempts to improve on it using modern technology. At the end of each episode a challenge test of the new version is held.

Focusing on actual Australian crimes, each episode unfolds the drama minute-by-minute showing viewers the tireless work of detectives, and the scientific procedures required to solve these mysteries. The series includes exclusive footage that has never been seen outside the courtroom, including police videos, crime scene stills and other forensic evidence. Recently the 1st and 2nd seasons have been released on DVD. The third season featured a new time slot – Wednesday at 8:30 pm. It is not known when, or if the fourth season will begin airing.
