Featuring television, radio and web broadcasting components, the series focused on the changing nature of Canada's relationship with its First Nations communities. The television component aired as a four-part documentary series hosted by Wab Kinew as part of CBC Television's Doc Zone, while radio programming devoted to First Nations themes aired on a variety of CBC Radio series and the web component included content from a variety of contributors, including news coverage by other CBC News reporters and a series of short films by 20 First Nations, Inuit and Métis reporters and filmmakers. The series was a shortlisted nominee for the Donald Brittain Award for Best Social/Political Documentary Program, and for Best Cross-Platform Project, Non-Fiction, at the 2013 Canadian Screen Awards.

Al Rojo Vivo is a Spanish language news program on the American television network Telemundo. It is shown daily from 5 to 6 P.M. EST. Anchors are Maria Celeste Arraras. The show replaced a similar news program called Ocurrio Asi in 2002 after Arraras left the Univision network after some laboral disputes. Arraras is substituted by Carmen Dominicci, Monica Noguera or Vanessa Hauc in special occasions. The show is similar to its competitor, Primer Impacto with it having some gossips segments between the current news and sports or weather sections.

Each interview covers the breadth of that author's writing career, and incorporates viewer calls and e-mails. The show is typically broadcast live the first Sunday of each month. The first program was on February 6, 2000, and was a discussion with historian John Lukacs. For the first several years of the show, episodes were not produced during the summer months. There have been a few exceptions to the practice of featuring one single author, as with the programs featuring the Strand Bookstore, Frank Williams and Edna Greene Medford's discussion of writings on Lincoln, and John K. Wilson and Jonathan Karp's discussions of the writings of Barack Obama and John McCain. From October 11, 2001 to November 3, 2010, Univision originally aired Don Francisco Presenta on Wednesday nights at 10pm/9c. From November 10, 2010 to January 30, 2012, Univision aired the talk show Monday nights at 10pm/9c, after Cristina ended its run. The series also aired five specials between 2002 and 2008. On February 6, La que no podía amar replaced all programs shown weeknights at 10pm/9c, due of low ratings and little viewership in Telemundo's novela: Relaciones Peligrosas. On March 29, Don Francisco Presenta was officially canceled by Univision, and as of 2013, telenovelas are broadcast at 10pm/9c.
