Proinos Kafes was a television daytime show aired by ANT1 in Greece during the period 1991-2009. Though it has received low ratings in the past years, it was one of the longest running and well known shows in Greece. The show consisted of different segments which included fashion shows, game and prizes, interviews, and live music from Greek and foreign artists. 'Proinos Kafes previous hosts': 1991-1994: Roula Koromila, 1994-1995: Popi Chadzidimitriou, 1995-2005: Eleni Menegaki, 2005-2008: Eleonora Meleti 2008-2009 Katerina Zarifi and Nikos Moutsinas 2009 George Lianos and Despoina Kabouri, 2009- Vicky Kaya Since the start of the show in 1991, the show has toured different parts of Greece including different areas of Athens, Heraklio on the island of Crete, Patras, Thessaloniki and many other places in Greece. The theme song of Proinos Kafes, was "Kalimera" - a song originally sung by Alexia Vassiliou, also known as, Alexia, in her 1990 album, 'Ela Mia Nyxta'.

In the show, discussions about sex and drugs take place with weekly guests. The discussions are led by Nicolette Kluijver . Filemon Wesselink has tried several types of drugs during the shows and showed and told about the effects they had. In later seasons, Dennis Storm did sex experiments in the show. Poly Tin Kyriaki, later known as Pio Poli Tin Kiriaki is a Greek entertainment show on Mega Channel, hosted by showman Grigoris Arnaoutoglou and Marietta Hroussala and later Kalomoira. In its first season, the show was called "Poli Tin Kiriaki", a pun on the classic Greek move 'Pote tin Kyriaki' and featured Marietta Hroussala. But after a successful first season, the show was renamed, with the added "Pio" prefix in the title, making it "Pio Poli Tin Kiriaki" with Kalomoira coming in as the co-hostess.

It was initially created to cover the media's coverage of the Persian Gulf War, but has since also covered the media's coverage of the Valerie Plame affair, the War in Iraq, the outing of Mark Felt as Deep Throat, and many other events and internal media stories. Wok with Yan was a Chinese cuisine cooking show starring Stephen Yan. The show was first produced in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada by the CBC at CBUT from 1980 to 1982. A second edition of the show was also produced in the early 1990s. The popular series was syndicated internationally in United States, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore for years. The humorous aprons also complemented his humour that consisted of spontaneous one-liners spoken with his trademark Cantonese accent or him playing with his food or cookware. That, combined with his energetic personality, endeared him to Canadian viewers. Prior to him preparing his stir fry cuisine, the show usually featured a vignette of Yan travelling to different vacation spots from around the world. He always invited an audience member to come up and eat with him near the end of each episode, and had a fortune cookie reading before the meal.
