Beautiful blonde Tina Kent is discovered murdered in the drawing-room of Brigadier Austin Binghop (Richard Hurndall) Inspector Hook (Dudley Foster) is convinced that Binghop is the culprit and takes him into custody. But Mr Drake thinks otherwise and begins investigating – placing himself in considerable personal jeopardy – with the trail leading him to the house of Chelsea socialite Mrs MacPherson (Sheila Keith).

    La Grande Chasse de Nanook/Nanook's Great Hunt was a 1996 French/Canadian animated series of 26 episodes. It was co-produced by Elma Animation, Medver International Inc., and TF1, in association with Mediatoon. The series was created and produced by Serge Rosenzweig; the directors were Franck Bourgeron, Marc Perret, and Stéphane Roux; the executive producers were Paul Rozenberg, Dana Hastier, and Lyse Lafontaine; the writers were Françoise Charpiat, Sophie Decroisette and Serge Rosenzweig; music was by Xavier Cobo and Michaël Dune. The series first aired in France on Wednesday September 3, 1997, on TF1's TF! Jeunesse. It also aired in Canada in French on Mondays at 8PM on Télétoon, and in English on Teletoon on Thursdays at 4:55PM. A 70 minute special titled Nanook: le grand combat/Nanook - The Great Combat was produced in 1996 as well. The special was directed by Gérald Fleury.

The series stars an elementary school boy named Dameo Marude, who has little success with anything he tries, and a robot named Borot, which is good with housekeeping. An anime adaptation by Toei Animation aired on Nippon Television from March 7, 1966 to February 27, 1967 for 52 episodes. A second anime series by Studio Pierrot ran on Fuji Television from November 1991 to September 1992 for The 47 episodes.

The show originally aired in Japan in 1997 on TV Tokyo and lasted only 34 episodes of a planned 52. An English language adaptation was later produced by DIC Entertainment and aired in the United States on Nickelodeon's short-lived action block, Slam. This show was abruptly pulled from air due to a lawsuit between DiC and the Santa Monica-based Speed Racer Enterprises, the company which owns the American rights of the franchise.

    Danger Island is a live-action adventure serial produced by Hanna-Barbera and originally broadcast in 1968 as a segment on the Banana Splits Adventure Hour. It was filmed in Mexico and directed by future Superman, Goonies, and Lethal Weapon director Richard Donner and featured Jan-Michael Vincent as Lincoln 'Link' Simmons. The series comprises a 3-hour adventure yarn broken down into 36 short chapters. Each chapter is roughly five minutes long and includes a suspenseful cliffhanger ending that is resolved in the next installment.

The lead cast members were Sean Pertwee as Ian Worrell and Louise Lombard as Liz Shaw. Sean Pertwee's Father, Jon Pertwee, also starred next to a character called Liz Shaw in one of the television shows he is best known for - Dr. Elizabeth Shaw was his first companion when he played the Third Doctor in Doctor Who. A pilot episode, featuring Josette Simon as a visiting dignitary, was broadcast in 1996. One series of six episodes followed, in 1997.
