The Insensitive Princess is a 1983 French animated television series written and directed by Michel Ocelot. The animation is a combination of cel and cutout animation while the elaborate architectural style of the production design has been said to be reminiscent, though visual association, of Charles Perrault and Jean de La Fontaine's fairy tales; like Ocelot's Les Trois Inventeurs before it and several episodes of the later Ciné si it takes place in a literary fairy tale-like fantasy setting, specifically a palatial theater, which mixes the ornate styles of decoration and dress of the upper-classes of both the time of the Ancien Régime and the belle époque and includes such fanciful technology as a baroque-styled submarine, elements of outright fantasy such as dragons and such anachronisms as a reference to motorcycles. It won first prize in its category at the 3rd Bourg-en-Bresse Animation Festival for Youth and the audience prize at the 6th Odense Film Festival.

Clock Suckers was a Flash cartoon series created and written by Mike and Andy Parker, better known for College University, along with Michael William and Jason Kamen. A total of 13 episodes were made, which were released on a semi-monthly basis on CollegeHumor from March 16, 2007 to February 28, 2008. The show stars Ben (voiced by Mike Parker), a thirty-something slacker who inherits a time machine composed of a bathtub and a Simon game from his deceased grandfather. Along with his friends, Kate (voiced by Hollie Bertram) and Tanner (voiced by Andy Parker), Ben uses the time machine to travel through time, changing and altering the timeline along the way. The cast is rounded out by Grit, a sarcastic robot, and Rocco, a talking cat, both of whom Ben has also inherited from his grandfather.

Barnyard Commandos is an action figure line that was produced by Playmates in 1989. A four-episode animated series was based on the figures the following year. Produced by Murakami-Wolf-Swenson, it features the vocal talents of S. Scott Bullock, Thom Bray, Pat Fraley, Paul Hreppel, John Mariano, Bob Ridgeley, Lennie Weinrib, and Danny Wells. However, the series was not successful enough to merit further production of episodes. The property is based around the concept of farm animals who consumed radioactive materials left over from an abandoned military experiment, mutating them into hyper-intelligent, anthropomorphic paramilitary troops. Cartoon Alley is an American television program that aired on Turner Classic Movies every Saturday Morning at 11:30 AM ET. Hosted by Ben Mankiewicz, the series featured three classic animated shorts from the 1930-1950's per episode. Most shorts were from The Golden Age of American animation. Each of the three shorts focused on a common theme. Most shorts came from Warner Bros., MGM, and Paramount, but during the show's first season Cartoon Alley featured shorts from the Gaumont Film Company. Many recognizable characters have been featured in at least one episode such as Bugs Bunny, Popeye, Porky Pig, Tom and Jerry, and others not so famous such as Goopy Geer and The Captain and the Kids. The Nicktoons Animation Festival is an annual event that was created by producer Fred Seibert and produced for its first three years by his Frederator Studios. Founded in 2004 to showcase the diversity of worldwide animation filmmaking, it is the largest multiplatform animation festival in North America. The festival features a selection of animated shorts from around the globe. Shorts selected for the festival have the chance to be aired on Nicktoons Network, online and to be showcased at the live event in Los Angeles in October. Several prizes are awarded each year. Animators under 18 years old are eligible to enter the Greater Creator Contest. New to the festival in 2008 is the “I Got Game” Contest in partnership with AddictingGames, and a contest for Lego filmmakers, sponsored by Lego.
