When Akemi notices what Seiichi is thinking, she meets Yusaku Shirube, a police detective. Akemi and Yusaku eventually have a love affair that night, comforting their wounded hearts. This one-night love affair is to be a start for perfect love.

Kazuo Ikehiro served as director for the entire series from the first instalment onwards. The series is based on the mystery novel series *Detective Ushio’s Case Files* by Seiichi Morimura.
