The team aim to resolve the paranormal activity for the family concerned. While mainly focused on ordinary family homes, investigations in celebrity homes such as comedian Freddie Starr's occasionally feature. Each run comprises 8 sixty-minute episodes. Now into its second series, the show airs on the Virgin Media Television satellite channel Living, plus Australian and Canadian channels.

    CCTV Cities is a 2008 British television documentary program, produced and presented by journalist Donal MacIntyre. Each episode featured a British town or city. Leeds, Wigan, Edinburgh and London were all featured. The documentary was shown on Five. Instances shown include an attempted suicide on a bridge in Leeds, where a man attempts to commit suicide by jumping into the River Aire, as well as police being attacked with missiles in Halton Moor, Leeds, when criminals attempted to regain a stolen car which the police were recovering.

    Food Safari is an Australian television series first screened on SBS TV Australia featuring the many cuisines brought to Australia by its immigrants. The series was produced by Kismet Productions in association with SBS TV Australia. Presented by Maeve O'Meara, each episode covers cuisine from a particular culture. Usually starting with commonly used ingredients and where to obtain them in Australia, it then moves onto the preparation and consumption of popular favourites, basic dishes and desserts. The series was rested in 2008 after the airing of the third series with a spin-off series, Italian Food Safari, airing in 2010, presented by O'Meara and chef Guy Grossi. A second spin-off series, French Food Safari, aired in 2011 and was presented by O'Meara and chef Guillaume Brahimi. Food Safari was commissioned for a fourth series and will return February 14, 2013.

    Undercover Princes is a BBC Three reality TV show which took three royal claimants from foreign cultures and placed them in Brighton where they had to 'live and date' like normal people. The idea for the programme came from the 1988 Eddie Murphy movie Coming to America. The contestants were Remigius Jerry Kanagarajah, in exile from the kingdom of Jaffna; Africa Zulu, a Zulu chief from South Africa; and Manvendra Singh Gohil of Rajpipla in north west India. The three men lived in a house together and the primary focus is on their search for a 'princess' in the UK whilst at the same time getting used to having to do things for themselves. All three ultimately failed to find a lasting relationship. The series was narrated by Dawn Porter. A female counterpart, Undercover Princesses, was made.

    Haunted Homes is a British reality television series made by September Films Productions. The show began with a pilot in 2004 which aired on ITV and a 'fictitious' episode of an Ouija Board. The show was then picked up in 2006 by ITV2. The show centers around psychic Mia Dolan, ghost hunter David Vee, actor Mark Webb and professor/rent-a-sceptic Chris French. They spend two nights in a supposedly haunted house, trying to find out if there are any ghosts present, and to remove them if they are - if not, to remove them anyway to make the show. Other similar shows include Most Haunted and Ghost Hunters. It is currently shown in the U.S. on Fine Living channel Tuesday and Sunday nights.

    Streetmate was a dating game show in the UK that first aired on Channel 4 from 30 October 1998 to 9 March 2001 and ran for 3 series. It was hosted by Davina McCall. It returned on 27 September 2007 but it moved to ITV2 as part of the channel's XXL Thursday line-up. It was then hosted by Holly Willoughby for one series. The idea behind the series is that the presenter has first to pick an eligible male or female from passers-by, and then with their help, approach equally eligible members of the opposite or the same sex for a date. The couple then go on the date, reporting back on its success or failure. "Hear the Drummer" by Chad Jackson served as the show's original theme tune. 4 music shows re-runs of streetmate between 3:00 and 4:00 on weekdays

    Wrestling Reality is a documentary television series airing on The Fight Network that follows the lives of a group of independent pro wrestlers in the Maritime provinces of Canada. The series consists of a half-hour documentary portion, as well as an hour of televised matches and shoot interviews. The sneak peek of the premiere episode was September 25, 2007, with the full series then airing in early November. The series tackles many issues that go on behind the scenes in the wrestling world including drug use, steroid use, and sex. The series gives the public a glimpse of what the lives of pro wrestlers are really like. The series was created by independent filmmaker Greg Hemmings.
