The Fiddley Foodle Bird was a British children's animated musical series written by Jonathan Hodge, and narrated by Bruce Forsyth. Thirteen episodes of the series were made in total, with one story continuing through the episodes. They were made in 1991 and broadcast in 1992 on BBC One at 4:15. It was produced by H.A.P.P.Y. Animation and Fiddley Foodle Bird Productions in association with HIT Entertainment and was broadcast in over 30 different countries worldwide. The series runs as 80 eight-minute shows, each of which combines both a five-minute animation with live action before and after. The show integrates the live action with the animation so that the story flows and continues throughout. In the US it airs on Discovery Kids and on TLC on Ready Set Learn between shows. The title theme was composed by Art Labriola and all the incidental music was written by Lester Barnes. Children's TV producer Jonathan Meath supervised and produced numerous episodes of the show Paz the Penguin. Paz is based on the books by Mary Murphy. The show focuses on a five-year-old penguin named Paz and his mother, Big Penguin. It first aired in 2003. The story revolves around Princess Comet, a twelve year old girl who is also the princess of the Harmonica Star country of the Triangle Nebula. She was meant to meet the prince of the Tambourine Star country, but the prince ran away to Earth instead. As it turned out, Comet is sent to Earth to find him, though she has no idea what he looks like. Once she travels to Earth, Comet falls in love with the people she meets there as well as the planet itself, quickly becoming attached to life on Earth.
