    News on Q was the flagship evening newscast of the Q network in the Philippines. It was produced by GMA Network through GMA News and Public Affairs. Connie Sison and Ivan Mayrina were the final anchors of the newscast. Launched in November 11, 2005, it used to air at 21:00 on all Q stations in the country, and was originally hosted by Ivan Mayrina and Rhea Santos. The tandem of Rhea Santos and Ivan Mayrina was formed from the GMA defunct show Pinoy Abroad. On March 5, 2007, in line with the network's rebranding, News on Q's medium shifted from the usual Filipino to English. In 2008, economist Winnie Monsod became its newest segment reporter on the country's issues. On August 11, 2008, along with Balitanghali, 24 Oras and Saksi, it was repackaged with a new theme, new set, new OBB, and a new set. In 2009, from the usual 30 minutes, the runtime was extended to 45 minutes.     7.30 is an Australian nightly television current affairs programme ABC1 and ABC News 24 at 7.30pm, Monday to Friday. A national edition screens from Monday to Thursday, produced at the ABN studios in Ultimo, Sydney and hosted by Leigh Sales. A local edition with a focus on state affairs screens on Fridays. However, when a big state political event happens, the national program can be pre-empted by the local edition. The program first screened on 7 March 2011, replacing both The 7.30 Report and Stateline.

The block consists of: ⁕Bulls & Bears, hosted by Brenda Buttner; ⁕Cavuto on Business, hosted by Neil Cavuto; ⁕Forbes on Fox, hosted by David Asman; and ⁕Cashin' In, hosted by Eric Bolling. The different shows have a number of different business analysts, some of which are exclusive to specific shows while others rotate between the shows. The Cost of Freedom business block began broadcasting in 720p HD on October 3, 2009.

    Exposé: America's Investigative Reports was a half-hour PBS documentary series that detailed some of the most revealing investigative journalism in America. Thirteen/WNET and the Center for Investigative Reporting launched the series as AIR: America's Investigative Reports on September 1, 2006. When the second season premiered on June 22, 2007, the series was retitled Exposé: America's Investigative Reports. Also in 2007, the series won the News & Documentary Emmy Award for Outstanding Story In A News Magazine for the episode "Blame Somebody Else." Exposé's third and final season began on February 22, 2008, and aired as part of the hour-long series Bill Moyers Journal.

    California Connected was a television newsmagazine that broadcast stories about the state of California to "increase civic engagement." The show was created by Marley Klaus and aired on twelve PBS member stations throughout California. In 2006, former NBC producer Bret Marcus took over as executive producer. The program was cancelled in 2007 due to a lack of funding. The program debuted in 2002 with host David Brancaccio; he anchored the show from the Los Angeles studios of then-PBS station KCET. Lisa McRee replaced Brancaccio in 2004. Rather than anchor from a television studio, McRee hosted the show from a different Californian location each week. A total of 154 episodes were taped. "California Connected" won more than 65 regional and national awards and, in 2007, the program won its first Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism for a story titled, War Stories From Ward 7-D.
