315 Production – a newly set up small talent agency – has assembled a group of aspiring male idols from various occupational fields. They include a former lawyer, a former doctor, former pilot and so on… Even though everyone hails from different backgrounds, they share a common dream: to be the top idol. And so, the stories of these male idols at 315 Production take centre stage…

Competition in the time-slot consisted of U.S. imports Ford Theatre and Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., Presents on HSV-7, while ABV-2 offered U.S. imports I Spy and Startime
The hour-long series was replaced by two local productions, game show The Dulux Show at 8:00PM, with discussion series Leave It to the Girls at 8:30PM.

It was a televised simulcast of a Macquarie Radio Network series, reflecting how new television was to Australia. It was sponsored by Rinso laundry detergent, and hosted by Terry Dear.
