Despite season one averaging 1.5 million viewers an episode, the new head sheriff, Jerry Larpenter, doesn't agree with the way the series represents his city. Larpenter declined the offer and Kadin is in the process of relocating the successful series. The Louisiana Auditor's Office reviewed former Sheriff Vernon Bourgeois's spending in relation to 'Cajun Justice' in January 2013.
