Continuing his work on his latest project "Defa", famous author Aktan Koral receives a mysterious call and goes to the house where he grew up. The main characters of the books he has written so far and his grandmother who died years ago are waiting for him in this house. Born in Zonguldak in 1997, Mert Uzunmehmet started his film career as an actor. In 2020, he won the Best Supporting Actor award at the Eastern European International Film Awards with the short film The Prism. Uzunmehmet then turned to directing and attracted attention with his six-episode web series DEFA, which he wrote and directed in 2021. This project was released on Amazon Prime and attracted great attention, especially in the USA.
