The VH1 Rock Honors were an annual ceremony paying homage to bands who influenced the sound of rock music. The events began in 2006, and the final event took place in 2008. The general format of each show is for modern bands to "pay tribute" to classic greats of the rock/metal world, after which time the artist being paid tribute to plays multiple songs. The 2006 and 2007 shows featured four inductees each, whereas the 2008 show featured one, albeit with multiple bands paying tribute. The shows were directed by David Mallet and produced by Paul Flattery. Currently, VH1 has no plans for a CD or DVD release of any show.

Big Brother: After Dark was an uncensored, uncut live feed from the American Big Brother House while broadcast on Showtime2. The program debuted on July 5, 2007 as a companion show since Big Brother 8 and it aired on Showtime 2 in the United States and Slice in Canada. The program was the only first-run original program produced specifically for any of Showtime's seven multiplex channels. On May 29, 2013, it was announced that Big Brother: After Dark will move to TVGN beginning on June 26. While it was promoted by TVGN as remaining uncensored as it was on Showtime 2, on TVGN "Big Brother: After Dark" is now rated TV14 and censored for language by muting of the audio.. The network says that nine words and nudity will be censored from the show, though some profanity still goes through. The broadcast airs uncensored over Slice in Canada. A version of this program was also developed as a companion series to Big Brother Canada on Slice.

CCTV-10 Lecture Room series: Pin San Guo (品三国; Analysis of the Three Kingdoms). "Yi Zhongtian's Analysis of the Three Kingdoms" is a CCTV-10 historical broadcast program and one of the "Hundred Forums" series. The main speaker, Yi Zhongtian, restored the real Cao Cao, defended Zhou Yu's false accusations, spoke up about Zhuge Liang, and re-evaluated Sima Yi. When talking about the world, there are only three points of gossip. Discuss the merits and demerits carefully, and summarize the gains and losses of successes and failures. Professor Yi Zhongtian of Xiamen University will use stories to tell characters, characters to tell history, history to tell culture, and culture to tell human nature. Discuss the major events of the Three Kingdoms and carefully analyze the success and failure of the heroes. Professor Yi Zhongtian will explain it from a civilian perspective.
