The Judy Garland Show is an American musical variety television series that aired on CBS on Sunday nights during the 1963-1964 television season. Despite a sometimes stormy relationship with Judy Garland, CBS had found success with several television specials featuring the star. Garland, who for years had been reluctant to commit to a weekly series, saw the show as her best chance to pull herself out of severe financial difficulties. Production difficulties beset the series almost from the beginning. The series had three different producers in the course of its 26 episodes and went through a number of other key personnel changes. With the change in producers also came changes to the show's format, which started as comedy/variety but switched to an almost purely concert format. A previously successful entrepreneur, Mak Tai Song searches for his mentor's wife, Sheh Mo Lin and helps pay off her debt because he feels guilty for his mentor's death. Song ends up mentoring Tong Kat on a part-time basis and take shelves of good wine as payments. Song then gets chased down on making payments for She Mo Lin's debt by Lam Miu Miu, the debt collection agent. The conflicting personalities of Lam Miu Miu, a wild spender and Mak Tai Song, a free-loader, causes many laughing moments, and finally both fall in love with each other. When Lam Miu Miu thinks things are finally turning out the way she wants, she gets confused by Song's sudden changes and evil-tactics against Ngon Jo Lin, Song's half-brother. Perhaps Song's long-lost childhood will change him entirely and make him more distant to Lam Miu Miu.

"Ha-Comedy Store" was an Israeli entertainment program which was broadcast on the Israeli Channel 2 between the years 1994-1996. In its prime it starred Tzvika Hadar, Assaf Ashtar, Ruby Duenyas, Gil Sassover and Itai Segev. The show scheduled weekly consisted different short non-sense styled skits including recurring nooks, such as "JoJo Ticked-Off" and "Jacques' Bulletin" and music segments which were mostly parodies of famous Israeli songs. During the first seasons, the show won a great success, and coined a number of unique expressions to the Hebrew language such as "Laflaf", "Khalastra". The character which is mostly remembered and identified with the show is apparently Jojo Halastra, played by Tzvika Hadar, which was a parody on the Israeli Ars. In 1995 a "Ha-Comedy Store" album was released containing all of the most popular songs and skits. After the third season the shows' popularity descended after some of the actors left the show.
