An Là is a Scottish Gaelic-language news programme broadcast on the Gaelic-language channel, BBC Alba. The programme, based at BBC Alba's newsroom in Inverness, began at 8pm on Monday 22 September 2008 and provides a 30-minute bulletin of Scottish, British and international news for Gaelic speakers on weeknights. The Sunday night review programme, composed of highlights from the week's bulletins as well as material from Eòrpa, called Seachd Là, began at 6.30pm on Sunday 28 September 2008. An Là is presented from Studio G at the BBC in Inverness, but output through Studio C Gallery in BBC Pacific Quay. Seachd Là, weather and the An Là sports news all come from BBC Pacific Quay in Glasgow. An Là is the first daily television news programme to be broadcast in Scots Gaelic since the axing of Grampian Television's Telefios bulletins in 2000. An Là was shortlisted in the Best Current Affairs category at the 2009 Celtic Media Festival.

Crossfire is a current events debate television program that airs on CNN. Its format is designed to present and challenge the opinions of a politically liberal pundit and a conservative pundit. The show initially ran from 1982 to 2005, when it was canceled. CNN announced on June 26, 2013, that after eight years off the air, a new version of Crossfire would re-launch September 16th, 2013, later moved to September 9. The panelists for the new edition of Crossfire are former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and political commentator S. E. Cupp representing the right and political consultant Stephanie Cutter and advocate Van Jones representing the left.

Early Today is an American early morning television news program airing on NBC. The program features general national and international news stories, financial and entertainment news, off-beat stories, weather forecasts, and sports highlights. It is anchored by Richard Lui for the Pacific and Mountain time zone editions, and Mara Schiavocampo or Veronica De La Cruz for the Eastern and Central time zone editions. It is the only early morning network newscast on any of the Big Three television networks that is not produced jointly with an overnight news program. The program is broadcast live at 4:00 a.m. Eastern Time, and is transmitted in a continuous half-hour tape delayed loop until 10:00 a.m. ET, when Today begins in the Pacific Time Zone. The program usually airs as a lead-in to local morning newscasts on most NBC stations, although in the few markets where the NBC station does not produce a morning newscast, it may air in a two- to three-hour loop immediately before the start of Today. Séptimo día is a Colombian television newsmagazine broadcast by Caracol TV on Sunday evenings. It proclaims itself as "a weapon against injustice". Séptimo día first aired in 1996 on Canal Uno, when Caracol TV was still a production company. At the time it was presented by its creator, Manuel Teodoro, and Adriana Vargas. The show was successful, but also had to face a the large amount of sues against it, which was the reason Caracol TV pulled it out of air in 2000. Eventually, Caracol TV won all the legal suits. A new season of Séptimo día started on 10 June 2007, presented by Teodoro and Silvia Corzo. Since 1 May 2011, María Lucía Fernández co-hosts the programme with Teodoro. In the Miami, Florida market, Séptimo día is broadcast by WGEN-TV on Sunday nights.
