    Breakfast News was a breakfast news show which first aired on BBC1 on 2 October 1989. The programme was previously known as Breakfast Time. It was planned to launch on 4 September 1989 and again on the 18 September but was held back due to technical issues with its new studio The programme went through three main visual changes. The initial look lasted from launch in 4 September 1989 to 12 April 1993. The 13 April 1993 revamp saw the programme presented from the same set as the One, Six and Nine O'Clock News bulletins. A further and final revamp took place in June 1997 when 'BBC' was shorn from its title, and on-screen it became known as simply Breakfast News. It was during this final period that the tone began to shift, with the return of a sofa set, alongside more features, and more interaction between the presenting team. The final edition of Breakfast News aired on 15 September 2000, and on 2 October 2000 it relaunched as BBC Breakfast.

    Today in New York is an American early-morning local news and entertainment television program on WNBC in New York City, New York. It is broadcast prior to Today from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays. On the weekends, the program is branded as Weekend Today in New York and is broadcast from 6 a.m to 7 a.m. and later from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturdays; and from 6 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Sundays – the gaps are for Weekend Today. The local news "cut ins" during Today are also branded as Today in New York. The weekday anchors of the program are Darlene Rodriguez and Michael Gargiulo. During the weekday edition, the anchors' traditional sign-off is "The Today Show is next. That's what happening today in New York."

    The Sunday Programme was GMTV's political programme. It launched on 16 October 1994 as a replacement for Sunday Best, which was GMTV's original Sunday morning magazine. The programme aired between 7:00 am and 8:00 am, just after The Sunday Review (a 60-minute signed review of the week's news). It was originally presented by Alastair Stewart, who left in 2001, and Steve Richards took over. From 1995 to 2001, the programme was called Alastair Stewart's Sunday Programme, but this was changed when Alastair left in 2001. In 2008, the programme was quietly axed and replaced with children's programming.

    News on Q was the flagship evening newscast of the Q network in the Philippines. It was produced by GMA Network through GMA News and Public Affairs. Connie Sison and Ivan Mayrina were the final anchors of the newscast. Launched in November 11, 2005, it used to air at 21:00 on all Q stations in the country, and was originally hosted by Ivan Mayrina and Rhea Santos. The tandem of Rhea Santos and Ivan Mayrina was formed from the GMA defunct show Pinoy Abroad. On March 5, 2007, in line with the network's rebranding, News on Q's medium shifted from the usual Filipino to English. In 2008, economist Winnie Monsod became its newest segment reporter on the country's issues. On August 11, 2008, along with Balitanghali, 24 Oras and Saksi, it was repackaged with a new theme, new set, new OBB, and a new set. In 2009, from the usual 30 minutes, the runtime was extended to 45 minutes. The Thames Valley news region was launched on Monday 4 December 2006 and ceased to exist on 8 February 2009. Like all regional news programmes on ITV in England and Wales and ITV Channel Television, it used the generic ITV font and idents.
