PC World's Digital Duo was a computer themed US television series that aired on PBS stations in 1999 as Digital Duo for 26 episodes and returned to broadcast as PC World's Digital Duo with an additional 26 episodes in 2005. It ran for a half hour per episode and was produced by Incandescent Entertainment. It featured co-hosts Stephen Manes of Forbes & PC World with Angela Gunn of USAToday.com in a "Siskel & Ebert" style format in which they would rate computer and on-line products and services. Each episode would also feature a commentary segment by Walt Mossberg.

One News is the news division of New Zealand television network TVNZ. The service is broadcast live from TVNZ Centre in Auckland. The flagship news bulletin is the nightly 6pm news hour, but One News also has midday and late night news bulletins, as well as current affairs shows such as Breakfast and Seven Sharp. The 6pm programme is New Zealand's most-watched news programme. As of July 2008, it has a market share of 44%. The current editor of One News is Paul Patrick, and the head of TVNZ News and Current Affairs is Anthony Flannery. One News has been judged Best News in the Qantas Media Awards from 2008 till 2011.

Weekend was a television newsmagazine that ran on NBC from 1974 to 1979. It was originally aired once monthly on Saturday nights from 11:30 P.M. to 1 A.M. Eastern time, the same time slot as Saturday repeats of The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson during its first season, then to replace Saturday Night Live, once a month on those weekends when the SNL cast was not producing a show. The program was awarded a George Foster Peabody medal in 1975 and attracted a cult following. The program was hosted by Lloyd Dobyns, who also did much of the reporting. The show's creator and executive producer was past president of NBC News, Reuven Frank. Together, Dobyns and Frank were largely responsible for the distinctive writing and quirky style of the program. In 1978, after four years of critical success and moderately good ratings for that hour, NBC moved Weekend to prime time. Viewpoint was a political talk show on Current TV. Formerly known as Viewpoint with Eliot Spitzer, it was hosted by former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer until January 6, 2013. After that, it was hosted by John Fugelsang. Viewpoint began airing on March 30, 2012 as a replacement to Keith Olbermann, who was dismissed from his show in the same time slot. It was the second television talk show to be hosted by Spitzer, with his previous effort having aired on CNN. Eliot Spitzer announced on January 6, 2013 that he left the show and the network, saying that "journalism has been more a matter of projecting a particular approach to covering policies, to covering issues. It was a continuation of what I tried to do in government. And that doesn’t fit with their vision of what [Al Jazeera is] going to do." However, he did say that "I view Al Jazeera as a very serious journalistic outfit". For the remainder of its run, the show was hosted by comedian John Fugelsang. The show aired its final episode on August 15, 2013.

Asia Business Report is a business news programme produced by the BBC and is shown on BBC World News during the Asian morning hours. This programme used to be available exclusively in Asia-Pacific, South Asia and Middle East but, as of a 1 February 2010 revamp, is now aired worldwide. It is also currently aired on the UK's domestic BBC News channel 3 times daily in the early hours of the morning as part of the Newsday programme. It is broadcast from the BBC's Singapore bureau which is in the central business district of Singapore. The main presenters are Rico Hizon and Sharanjit Leyl. Mishal Husain once presented this programme but has since returned to Britain to present the main BBC News bulletin for BBC World News.

Online Nation is an American reality TV series that premiered on The CW on September 23, 2007. Scouring the endless number of websites, blogs, and user-generated materials on the Internet, Online Nation featured everything and anything that has captured the attention of the online world. In addition, viewers were supposed to be able to communicate with each other live on the air. However, this function was never available, even though in the original promo for the show, it showed the capability. The show was produced by Room 403 Productions. The show premiered on September 23 with that was then the lowest ratings in the network's history, which could be blamed on the program being in one of the network's worst time slots and the network's lax promotion of the series. Only 994,000 viewers caught the premiere of the show. On October 17, 2007, The CW canceled Online Nation, making it the second show to be canceled in the 2007-2008 television season.
