    Midday is an Irish television talk show programme skewed towards female viewers. The show first broadcast from October 2008 on TV3. The all-female panel includes the show's presenter, Elaine Crowley, and four other women. This panel of women varies from each episode generally made-up of some of Ireland’s best known businesswomen, actresses, artists, sportswomen and female political figures. The members of the panel tackle the hot topics and trends of the day, with live feedback from phone-in viewers, keeping them on their toes and stoking the fire of debate. From September 2013 Midday will receive a revamp, Elaine Crowley will be joined by a new co-presenter, former The Morning Show presenter, Sybil Mulcahy. As part of the revamp the show will broadcast live from the Sony HD Studios with a live studio audience who will regularly take part in the shows debates. Sybil will bring us the views of the nation from all across the country via live link, while panellists interact with the new audience.

    STV Sports Centre was a Scottish regional sports stand, covering the two STV franchise areas of Northern and Central Scotland. The strand was produced the STV News department in Glasgow, with contributions from STV North's news team in Aberdeen. Until May 2011, Sports Centre aired two different programmes: Friday Night Football, broadcast on Friday nights at 10:30pm, and Magners League Rugby - airing on Sundays straight after the late ITV News bulletin. The programmes were produced by the STV News department in Glasgow, with contributions from STV North's news team in Aberdeen. Short Sports Centre news bulletins also aired on Monday - Thursday nights at 10:35pm during the late regional bulletins from STV News. Gerry McCulloch and Sheelagh McLaren were the presenters.

    Exposé: America's Investigative Reports was a half-hour PBS documentary series that detailed some of the most revealing investigative journalism in America. Thirteen/WNET and the Center for Investigative Reporting launched the series as AIR: America's Investigative Reports on September 1, 2006. When the second season premiered on June 22, 2007, the series was retitled Exposé: America's Investigative Reports. Also in 2007, the series won the News & Documentary Emmy Award for Outstanding Story In A News Magazine for the episode "Blame Somebody Else." Exposé's third and final season began on February 22, 2008, and aired as part of the hour-long series Bill Moyers Journal.

    Eyewitness to History was a CBS Friday night public affairs program which was initially hosted by veteran broadcaster Charles Kuralt, followed by Walter Cronkite, and Charles Collingwood. It aired from September 30, 1960 through July 26, 1963, sponsored by Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. This show concentrated on the most significant news story or stories, reviewing the events. The show's title was shortened to Eyewitness in 1961. Coincidentally, many local CBS affiliates adopted the branding "Eyewitness News" for their local newscasts in the 1960s. One of the show's producers, Av Westin, went on to become executive producer of ABC Evening News and, later, 20/20.

    Take 30 was a Canadian television newsmagazine series, which aired on CBC Television from 1962 to 1984. An afternoon series originally designed as a "women's show", the series gradually evolved into a showcase for serious journalism, airing documentary reports and interviews on social and cultural topics. The program's original hosts were Anna Cameron and Paul Soles. In 1965, Cameron left and was replaced by Adrienne Clarkson. During his time on the show, Soles was also a busy voiceover actor for animation, best known for shows such as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Spider-Man, both of which were produced concurrent with his work on Take 30. Clarkson left the show in 1975 to become a host of The Fifth Estate, and was replaced by Mary Lou Finlay. Finlay left in 1977, and was replaced by Hana Gartner; Soles left the following year and was replaced by Harry Brown.
