    TV Patrol Southern Mindanao is the local news network broadcast of the ABS-CBN Regional Network Group in Davao City. It has been the most watched news program in Davao City and Region 11. The newscast is a tabloid-style format, and delivers news headlines about the current events in Southern Mindanao. It is aired live daily from ABS-CBN TV-4 Davao at 5:00 PM, from Monday to Friday, simulcast on TV-24 Mati, Davao Oriental. It is also shown abroad through The Filipino Channel. It is simulcast on radio via DXAB Radyo Patrol 1296. TV Patrol Southern Mindanao maintains a 24-hour shift of reporters, cameramen and drivers with coverage over the provinces of Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Davao Oriental and Compostela Valley.

    iWatch News was the flagship English evening news program of Radio Philippines Network in the Philippines. The news program replaced the network's longest-running English news program NewsWatch. It was originally anchored by former K-Lite disc jockey Carlo Tirona and recording artist Aryana Lim. Lim has since pursued other endeavors and has been replaced by former magazine editor, former RT disc jockey and actress Lexi Schulze. iWatch News targets the youth audience especially college students and young urban professionals. It differentiates itself from other newscasts by offering more reports and news features that appeal to the younger crowd. iWatch News aired for the last time on January 11, 2008.

    The Big Breakfast is a Canadian morning news and entertainment program, that aired on the A-Channel stations and CKX from 1997 to 2005. It has no relation to the UK show of the same name. Each A-Channel station produced and broadcast its own Big Breakfast. CKX aired CHMI's Winnipeg edition. The anchors were Jon Ljungberg and Jimmy Mac in Winnipeg, Mark Scholz and Steve Antle in Edmonton and Dave Kelly and Tara McCool in Calgary On December 1, 2004, CHUM Limited officially took over ownership of the A-Channel system, and the stations were re-launched as Citytv on August 2, 2005. The Big Breakfast was also relaunched as Breakfast Television, the name Citytv uses for its similar morning shows, on the same day the stations were rebranded. The A-Channel brand was subsequently transferred to CHUM's former NewNet stations, whose own morning programs were retitled A-Channel Morning.

    Eyewitness to History was a CBS Friday night public affairs program which was initially hosted by veteran broadcaster Charles Kuralt, followed by Walter Cronkite, and Charles Collingwood. It aired from September 30, 1960 through July 26, 1963, sponsored by Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. This show concentrated on the most significant news story or stories, reviewing the events. The show's title was shortened to Eyewitness in 1961. Coincidentally, many local CBS affiliates adopted the branding "Eyewitness News" for their local newscasts in the 1960s. One of the show's producers, Av Westin, went on to become executive producer of ABC Evening News and, later, 20/20.

    5 News is the news programme of British broadcaster Channel 5 produced by ITN from Channel 5's parent company Northern & Shell head office on Lower Thames Street in the City of London. From 1 January 2005, Sky News was awarded the contract to provide the news for Channel 5, replacing ITN, which had provided the channel's news service from the channel's launch in 1997. On 14 February 2011, the service was rebranded back to its original name, 5 News, having been called Five News from 2002 until 2011. On 20 February 2012 the contract returned to original provider ITN. The ITV press centre announced on 2 September 2011 that David Kermode, at-the-time editor, would leave 5 News in order to take up an editorial spot on Daybreak. He was replaced by Geoff Hill.

    Daybreak Scotland was the regional news strand for the two ITV regions in northern and central Scotland, provided for the ITV breakfast station ITV Breakfast. The bulletins were produced for Daybreak by Macmillan Media, and were broadcast from studios in Glasgow. Before 3 December 2007, the regional news opt outs during GMTV were provided by the ITV franchise holders in central and northern Scotland, STV Central and STV North respectively. However in 2007, the contract for providing the regional news was awarded to Macmillan Media. Macmillian Media also produced Daybreak Northern Ireland news for broadcast in Northern Ireland. Meanwhile, the regional news for the ITV regions in England and Wales and the Channel Islands are produced by the corresponding ITV plc regions. Viewers in southern Scotland receive pan-regional news from the ITV Tyne Tees & Border region.
